Cheap Gas: How to Find Lowest Gas Prices

Are you looking to discover the lowest gas prices around? You're not alone. Thousands of drivers per day go online looking to find cheap gas or at least a source that provides information on one's local area cheapest gas stations. As a service to our readers, we've done some research and here are the sources we've found so far:

US & Canada

Gas Buddy (US) - The number of drivers who go online to find cheap gas prices are quite naturally increasing everyday. Gas Buddy (often mispelled as 'Gas Budy') is a popular source to find lowest gas prices in/around the United States.

GasTips.com (Canada & US) - GasTips is a website that provides consumer-submitted tips on local gas prices by folks all around Canada and the U.S.

Gas Price Watch (US) - "Power to the People at the Pump" is this site's motto. You can search for U.S. gas prices (all 50 states, Guam, Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands and other territories) by using their zip code search.

MapQuest Gas Prices (US) - Ah duh, it just makes sense that MapQuest would think to add this as a service for their site's visitors. To find your local area cheapest gas stations, you can input your address (or just your zip code) plus indicate the type of fuel (e.g., Gasoline - regular or premium; Diesel; Alternative Fuels) that you use.

MSN Autos | Gas Prices (US) - Input your zipcode and get a list of gas stations in your area along with gas prices.

EIA - Energy Information Administration (US) - While you won't find cheap gas or lowest gas prices for your area, this site does provide average gasoline and diesel fuel prices, charted by region of the country, and listed by state.

FuelEconomy.gov (US) - Provides links to gasoline price data for U.S. cities as well as a truckload of other related info.

Other Countries
